About Our Management

Our management consists of the founding partners and has led the day-to-day management of the business since 2014.

Michael A Young Partner

Michael Young (Mike) has served as the managing partner with an extensive background in generator systems. Dating back to the oil fields of West Texas, working for Loffland Brothers Drilling, Mike worked with troubleshooting and testing multi-megawatt generator sets and SCR Drive systems. In later years, Mike joined Aggreko as a Depot Manager in Odessa, Texas and transferred to the Atlanta, Georgia area to help with the 1996 Summer Olympics which Aggreko supplied over 150MW for.  After the Olympics, Mike was promoted to National Sales Manager for Aggreko, traveling throughout the US, selling large generator rental projects, helping utilities with power needs when the systems were overloaded. These systems included a 25MW project in Chicago for Commonwealth Edison, a 110MW project throughout Ohio for FirstEnergy, and a 25MW project in Manhattan, NY for Con Edison. Mike then joined Kraft Power and had a 12-year successful career with Kraft in the Suwanee, GA, facility. As a sales specialist, Mike sold custom generator packages to a variety of companies and used Lynx Power Systems as the main supplier. It was at Kraft Power where Mike and Nathan King first met, with Nathan being the production manager at Lynx Power Systems. After a 2.5-year stint at Nixon Power in sales, Mike decided to use his experience and expertise to form what is now called Georgia On-Site Power LLC in February of 2014.

William Nathan King Partner 

William King (Nathan) has served as the technical partner for the day-to-day operations. Nathan has an extensive background in manufacturing generator systems, starting back in 1986 with MagneTek Generators in Adamsville, TN. Starting on the ground floor with the company. Nathan worked up to be the generator production manager, building various systems for Caterpillar and many distributors throughout the US. Nathan was then promoted to the engineering department, developing new generator systems as well as aftermarket support. After Elliot Power Systems purchased MagneTek Generators, the generator systems portion of the business was dissolve on the focus for a small Turbine generator systems. Nathan made the move to Atlanta, GA area in 1998 and started working with Signal Point Systems. Signal Point Systems started a generator manufacturing company Lynx Power Systems, where Nathan fit right in with this new business venture with his background. Nathan was in charge of production for many years, building 1000’s of generators for the Telecom industry and other special applications. With the working relationship with Mike, Nathan left Lynx Power Systems after 16 years and brought with him the knowledge that Georgia On-Site Power LLC needed for a successful business venture.
